Job Title: Polier – Road & Street Construction (North Rhine-Westphalia)

Location: Various Sites Across North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW)
Salary: €55,000 – €65,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Start Date: As soon as possible
Language Requirement: Fluent German (B2 or higher)

About the Role:

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Polier (m/w/d) to lead and coordinate road and street construction projects across sites in North Rhine-Westphalia. This is a hands-on site-based role for someone who enjoys managing day-to-day operations, ensuring projects run smoothly, safely, and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and coordinate daily site operations for road and street construction projects

  • Supervise construction crews and subcontractors to ensure quality and productivity

  • Monitor adherence to safety standards, timelines, and project specifications

  • Assist in the planning and scheduling of work in collaboration with site management and engineers

  • Maintain accurate records of site activities, materials, and progress reports

  • Act as the point of contact between workers, site management, and external stakeholders

  • Ensure compliance with German construction regulations and environmental guidelines

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in road, street, or civil construction projects

  • Completed training as a Polier, or equivalent construction qualification

  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, machinery, and safety protocols

  • Leadership skills and the ability to motivate teams on-site

  • Fluent in German (B2 level or above)

  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to various sites across NRW
